Janna K. Chun

Janna K. Chun, FNP, brings years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner to the care of children, adolescents, young adults, and young-at-heart adults. As a Certified Medical Examiner, she also brings care to commercial vehicle drivers. She is proud to serve patients throughout North Texas. 
 
Janna moved to Texas from Chicago in 2009 with her husband and one son. She obtained her BSN from Texas Tech University and her MSN / FNP from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has over a decade of clinical experience. Her experience as an advanced practice provider comes from multiple settings, including family practice, gynecology (women’s health), integrative/functional primary care, inpatient and outpatient cardiology/rehabilitation, wound care, and weight management. She also has urgent care experience where she managed patients with minor surgical complaints and emergencies. 
 
Janna loves getting to know her patients and enjoys treating them like family. She is passionate about treating each patient individually, being mindful of their overall well-being, and wishes to gain a relationship with each one of them. She believes every patient has a story, and that we can learn and benefit from listening to and helping each other. Janna feels so blessed to work in medicine, to uphold the Hippocratic oath, and to be able to incorporate her faith in the workplace. All of her patients are equal in value without judgment.
